WITT is offering a Level 7 Trauma Informed Practice micro-credential in New Plymouth, starting 21 September 2026. Designed for professionals, the course develops the knowledge and practical skills to support people with multidimensional experiences of trauma, while considering the wellbeing of their whānau.
Participants will explore evidence-informed and reflective approaches to trauma-informed practice, including the historical and intergenerational impacts of trauma in Aotearoa. The course aims to strengthen safe, holistic practice across sectors including health, social services, education and justice.
The programme includes online learning and two face-to-face workshops in New Plymouth, on 25 September and 13 November. It involves 150 hours of learning, with a two-week study break.
